Biography

Kimberly Ann Landis serves as a Principal for SwailLandis. Ms. Landis also serves as Vice President of the Educational Policy Institute, where she helps identify new projects and also is a site-visit research expert. For 12 years, Landis served as Executive Director of ACCESS in Ashtabula, Ohio, a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to helping low-income and other disadvantaged youth prepare for, access, and succeed in higher education. ACCESS also served as a GEAR UP site for six years. In her role at ACCESS and EPI, she has worked with numerous higher education institutions and P-20 groups to create pathways for success at the policy and practical levels. She is an expert in pre-college programs, community partnerships, K-12 initiatives, and grant writing for philanthropic and federal programs.  

Ms. Landis received her bachelor’s degree in special education from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
