For the past 20 years, Kellie has worked both independently and with top DC area agencies to counsel a wide variety of private, public, association and non-profit clients. It was during the first decade of her career as a communications consultant to political parties and candidates, however, that she became skilled at developing precise and powerful messaging to inspire target audiences. Kellie’s expertise has since been sought by senior executives and public spokesmen for crafting speeches and presentations, preparing for media interviews, and creating online, print and video content.

In the past, Kellie represented, among other clients, tobacco industry whistleblower Jeffrey Wigand, who was later played by Russell Crowe in the movie, “The Insider.” And she led the state advocacy and communications component of the Centers for Disease Control’s historic “America Responds to AIDS” campaign.

Examples of other clients for whom she has provided crisis communications counsel, online visibility services and other communications support include Johnson Controls and PriceWaterhouseCoopers; the Veterans Administration and the Small Business Administration; the American Medical Association and United Fresh Produce; and The Conservation Fund and the American Red Cross.

Kellie graduated from the University of Delaware with a B. A. in public relations and political science. She and Jim have two sons.
